She presents information not as a wise and powerful elder to ignorant naïve student, but as an equal who is helping a fellow student. I always loved the fact that she explained and connected every exercise, tip, or example. This made each lesson something I could easily reflect on, not puzzle over. Lessons with Ms. Tee was a struggle at first, especially detache, but after months of what seemed like no improvement and constant frustration, I realized how much better I had become in just 5 months.
